The Phoenix

The Phoenix of Liverpool - The bird is known as a Liverbird, a Famously-known icon of the port of Liverpool. Two statues of the Liverbird sits on top of the clock towers of the Royal Liver Building, one facing the city and the other the sea. Legend tale says the birds were position that way to protect the fishermen at sea and their families back home.
